NINL Seminar Oct 4th : Safety On The Northsea 2050 – The future has begun

On Octber 4th, 2024, The Nautical Institute Netherlands Branch (NINL) will host a high level seminar on the subject of the safety on the Northsea in the future. In the light of the increasing traffic and the ever growing number of windfarms in the Northsea this is a very hot topic at this moment.

The Nautical Institute Netherlands Branch is happy to receive sponsorship for this event from Lloyds Register, The Netherlands. Lloyd’s Register is a leading provider of classification and compliance services to the marine and offshore industries, helping clients design, construct, operate, extend and decommission their assets safely and in line with environmental expectations.

We have managed to get a list of excellent speakers who will give presentations om various related subjects. The session will be concluded with a panel discussion of the speakers and the participants.

NINL is extremely pleased that we can host this event at the brand new Seven Oceans Simulator centre (SOSc) of the MARIN research institute at Wageningen, The Netherlands. Part of the day program is a tour of the SOSc, an ultra modern multi simulator system which was opened this year by HM King Willem-Alexander.
